tildearrow is back - now with HTTPS!

after 3 months of a lengthy quest, I finally got the site back (or at least for now).

around one year ago, the website went down, because they moved me into a carrier-grade NAT somehow, and took away IPv6 with it (tildearrow still is not IPv6-ready though).
this was a really poor decision in their side, because, come on if you are going to mitigate the address exhaustion problem, can't you at least keep the dual-stack?! (private IPv4 address and IPv6 address)

...but no. they only have two setups:

which is dumb... because... wasn't IPv6 designed to address the issues with IPv4?
seems like you rushed the carrier-grade NAT and forgot about IPv6... :<
...even Claro does the right thing with a private IPv4 and IPv6 dual-stack!

thankfully they fixed this a few days later... but still, that was a warning sign...
because... one year later... the server went down...
they put me under that freaking NAT again and there was no way to escape...
I called them, over and over and over.
they never did anything. they just told me the same crap every time I called:

I had to try another ISP in the meanwhile, but they just refused to grant me a public IP address... so I just revoked my subscription... (this only lasted one week)

then I called the old ISP again...
they even changed the router and promised me I would get a public address, but... guess what.
nothing happened at all. they brought the new router and it was freaking private. liars!

enough of that. I am going to ask the other ISP.
so I go to the park and then arrive to their office. it was kinda hard to find but I found them and they were surprised I arrived...
so they told me they would grant me a public IP address, and higher upload speeds than ever...
...not only that... but also they called back a few days later and told me they would increase the speeds to 100Mbps! a 100x upgrade over the previous connection!
guess what... they took forever to come, and they never came after all.
they couldn't set the wires up, since they couldn't find anybody else to do that...

...so I just went back to calling the older ISP for now.
and they... finally listened! and the public IP address is back and so this means the website is up again! it is party time!

it is still slow though... but at least a 3x improvement due to the router change.

...but hey, it is back...
