can you set up your video rates correctly?

if it's gonna be a professional production, could you at least spend some time setting up your cameras, software and other video equipment to the same field/frame rate?
it doesn't take any longer than the initial setup and will result in a consistent, smooth video for the consumer.

I just got irritated with the frame rate of a certain local show. they apparently record it in 60i, edit it in 24p and broadcast it in 30p. what the hell
have the courtesy to set your video editing software or whatever to 30p/60i, DANG IT, how come your live shots are fine yet your baked productions look like a laggy computer?
did you seriously think that frame rate doesn't matter? it looks so jagged and stuttery. I can't watch it like that.
set up your frame rates, come on.
